T-33 days!!!

Hello all!

We just wanted to post a quick blog to let you all know that we have placed about 75 EoSD flyers on the welcome table at church. We would like for you to take only a few at a time to ensure those get distributed and that there are plenty to go around.

We will also be glad to send you a PDF or JPEG version of the flyer so you can distribute it electronically if that is easier for you.

Please remember to email Stephen Iaconis if you would like to help with the event. Below is a list of areas that we will need help with.

-Welcome Tent workers (~60 minute shifts) – ‘Bubbly’ people please apply
-First Aid Tent (~60 minute shifts) – Medical experience preferred
-Inflatable Games Workers – Making sure kids get in and out of the inflatables in a safe fashion
-Set up Crew – Will need to be at the Church ~3PM day of event
-Take Down Crew – Take down starts to happen during movie, but won’t be done until ~11PM
-Movie Crew to help Kiluba – See Kiluba for details
-Grass Cutting (two days before) Church has mowing equipment. Or just pray for no rain.
-Carnival Games IDEAS: Involves 1.) ability to develop a game, 2.) bring it to the -event, 3.) actually work it during the event with your small group
-Kids Tent Helpers (Kids tent is for children generally under ‘youth’ age)
-Youth Games organizer/helper
-Coolers - We’ll need 20 ‘coolers’ for the day of the event(please write your name on them and drop them off the week of)
-Tents - We’ll need ~ FIVE ‘side-less’ tents/canopy tents. Like a 10x10, 12x12, etc.
-Monetary Needs – This event is held outside the church budget, so we’ll be raising a small amount of money.
-Advertising – Everyone try to get the word out in your subdivision, tell your neighbors, friends, etc. Join the Facebook group.

EoSD is approaching...Quickly!!

Hello all,

The 2009 End of Summer Days event is quickly approaching and we still need a lot of help. We will have a couple hundred people on our church campus August 29th and you can help with any of the following and more. We will have everything from welcome tents to first aid to band setup/takedown to inflatable’s. If you would like to help with the event, please let us know here and we will gladly put you to work!

If you have any ideas, comments or concerns about the event, you can let us know here and they will be addressed promptly by the church staff.

Please inform your friends and family about the event and have them tell people they know. We need to get the word out there that knowing God is FUN!!!
